Current status of implementation of accessibility requirements
The website meets the requirements of the Accessibility Enhancement Act (BFSG), as well as EN 301 549 and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at conformity levels A and AA in part.
The following parts of the website are not yet fully accessible:
- In some sections of the website, heading levels are not used correctly in hierarchical order. (WCAG Success Criterion 1.3.1 – Information and Relationships)
- Embedded videos do not currently have subtitles or alternative text descriptions. (WCAG Success Criterion 1.2.2 – Subtitles (recorded))
- The PDFs on the website are not designed to be accessible.
- Some link text is not meaningful or is missing. (WCAG Success Criterion 2.4.4 – Links)
- Page titles do not always provide the full context of the page. (WCAG Success Criterion 2.4.2 – Page Titles)
- Headings, lists and paragraphs are not consistently marked up using HTML structural elements. (WCAG Success Criterion 1.3.1 – Information and Relationships)
- Sliders are sometimes cut off on mobile devices.
We are constantly working to identify and remove existing barriers. To continuously improve digital accessibility, we are implementing the following measures, amongst others:
- Collaboration with technical service providers to optimise accessibility
- Carrying out internal audits and tests
- Raising awareness and providing training for our staff on the subject of digital accessibility
Timetable for removing the barriers
The complete removal of existing barriers is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2026 at the latest. We are currently working intensively on implementing the necessary accessibility measures.

This accessibility statement was created on 18 June 2025 and last updated on 30 June 2026.
Examination methodology
Accessibility has been ensured through comprehensive internal checks and tests. As part of this process, representative pages and key functions were systematically reviewed. The checks were carried out both manually and using specialised technical tools. Further checks by external experts are planned in the near future.
