Bees are our most important colleagues! To ensure their wellbeing, we are once again supporting the planting competition this year Wir tun was f\u00fcr Bienen<\/strong><\/em><\/a> Last year, the competition enabled 48 hectares of green spaces to be redesigned in a near-natural way. That\u2019s equivalent to around 68 football pitches!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Below, we have summarised all the tips from last year\u2019s social media series \u2018Planting Tips\u2019 for gardens and balconies. This way, you can find out today how to plant your home in a bee-friendly way over the coming months. The planting tips are presented by Dr Corinna H\u00f6lzer. As co-founder of the initiative Deutschland summt!<\/strong><\/a><\/em>, she is a true expert when it comes to bee-friendly planting.<\/p>\n\n\t<\/div>\n\n<\/div>\n\n

By the way: Did you know that it is not permitted to trim hedges, shrubs and bushes between 1 March and 30 September? The reason for this is to protect native insects and birds that nest in the hedges.<\/p>\n\n
